Q. Is Flanders Financial Group affiliated with an FINRA Company ?

A. Flanders Financial Group offers their securities transactions through 1st Discount Brokerage, Inc., a member of the FINRA, SIPC.

Q. Can I view my account on-line with your company?

A. Yes, you may use the 1st Discount Brokerage, Inc. site to keep track of an account with us.

Q. Will I have a choice of investments and insurance products with your company?

A. We offer a broad range of investments and insurance products. We can help you reach your financial objectives through the use of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, variable annuities, REIT's, Cd's, municipal bonds, long-term care insurance, life insurance, health and disability insurance.

Q. What if I don't live close to your office?

A. Many of our clients never come to our office. We have clients in all of the states listed on our home page. We use the latest available technology to make life easier for you. When you call or email us we can walk you through the necessary paper work to get the job done.

Securities are offered through 1st Discount Brokerage, Inc., Member FINRA and SIPC. Our brokerage accounts are held at Ridge Clearing and Outsourcing Solutions, Inc., Member NYSE, FINRA and SIPC.

All accounts held by Ridge Clearing & Outsourcing are protected against brokerage firm failure through the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) and customers are afforded the benefits under the Securities Investor Protection Act of 1970. SIPC provides protection up to a $500,000 limit, of which $100,000 may be for cash balances.

In addition, we have arranged supplemental account protection through Customer Asset Protection Company (CAPCO), a licensed Vermont insurer which provides "Excess SIPC" protection of Full Net Equity of Securities and Cash, with no limitation on aggregate firm or per customer coverage. The additional securities and cash protection is of the same type and nature as provided by SIPC, but at a higher limit. Coverage is provided for the clearing operations of Ridge Clearing & Outsourcing (Ridge Clearing & Outsourcing), which includes all customer accounts that are cleared through Ridge Clearing & Outsourcing by its introducing broker-dealer clientele.
